Does anybody happen to know the torque spec for the trans pan on a 727.

use a quarter inch ratchet and just snug it evenly going across one side to the other.
watch the edge of the gasket that hangs out and make sure not to go so tight that it bulges/squishes out around the bolts.

what type of gasket?
you could 3m it to the pan 1st.

I just bought the reusable one with the rubber o-ring.
