same ol' same ol'. Merge or sue, the American way.

Here's the deal:

04-22) 12:31 PDT San Jose, Calif. (AP) --
EBay Inc. says it is suing Craigslist, alleging the classified site's board unfairly tried to dilute eBay's stake in it.

EBay purchased a 28-percent stake in Craigslist, a privately held company, in 2004.

But in January, eBay says, Craigslist's board, consisting of founder Craig Newmark and Chief Executive Jim Buckmaster, unilaterally acted to dilute eBay's economic interest in Craigslist by more than 10 percent.
The company is asking Delaware's Court of Chancery to negate the board's actions.

The complaint is under seal at eBay's request, according to a company statement.

Every now and then you'll find out that if you post link to ebay on your craigslist ad, it will get deleted. If this, in some small way, has anything to do with it I don't know.

I read another article on how ebay marketing people are constantly trying to figure out how to capture the "everyday people" kind of customers that craigslist seems to attract to their website. Hence having a small piece of the craigslist pie.
