Most ideas here will work just fine if done well. The key is done well. It would be hard to judge which is “better” as most folks don’t have the equipment necessary to measure the resistances involved, which are likely in low milliohms for a metal to metal connection. 10 millohms ( good metal to metal connection) at 5 amps (ecu current) is only 50 millivolts voltage drop. If we are arguing about that kind of voltage drop we are pretty much down in the mud.
