Eddy Classic IAS shock vs. the Eddy Performer IAS shock

From the Edelbrock web page........

Classic IAS shocks have the same features as the Performer IAS line but with a gunmetal gray powder coated finish and classic Edelbrock logo. Available for AMC, Ford, GM and Mopar muscle cars.

I assumed there was an actual difference in the shock valves or something. Guess not . Your right, looks like red paint is only diff.
