Just wondering about this, I have the eddy rpm heads on my 360, the 60779 heads for flat tappet cams. They are good up to 6500 rpm and .575 lift with the stock springs that come on the heads. I have the comp XE268-H cam, .480 lift and 268 duration.
I haven't started the motor up yet. But I left the eddy springs in because they are a bit stiffer than the ones comp recommended so I thought they would be fine. Also both are single springs. Am I okay to leave the eddy springs and run the motor? Or should I change them out for the springs comp recommend for that cam. The cam isn't overly aggressive and I'm just driving around the street with the car.
