Edelbrock Heads & Fel-Pro 1008

What would the group recommend for gasket sealer? I have Edelbrock Performer RPM heads and the recommended Fel-Pro #1008 gasket. Do I need a gasket sealer or is it fine without one?

No sealer. Been there done that with those parts.

normally no gasket sealer is used on head gaskets, so I would not use any sealer. Just make sure they are lined up correctly and the surfaces are clean.

I have just installed Edlebrock alloy heads and I used Hylamar for sealant. Whether you use this sealant or not, It doesn't really matter. I just use it for insurance. It won't hurt.
