electric fan on the factory 67 barracuda radiator?

i hunted down an aftermarket 16" electric fan at a local parts warehouse. i was wondering if a 16" unit is enough for a 67 barracuda. i have a magnum 318 in it right now and will eventually upgrade to a street/strip 360 later(projecting output at about 400-450hp). i live in northern california but am leaving for basic training in june. after that ill take the car wherever the army thinks i fit best so i dont want the car overheating in any condition. please help me out here

If you want it good anywhere and that means traffic jams too, I would get a dual fan, with a shroud. You should run a relay with it, since it pull alot of amps or be sure to use 12 gauge wire and a high amp switch.

Its not cheap to do it right. Thats why for the money the factory fan works very good, but does drag down the motor.
