What are the proper steps for degreeing my cam with a degree wheel (fresh build)? Anything different with doing an RV10 RDP cam or the slant? I haven't done this before, I just want to make sure I don't mess it up

Comp Cams has a video You should be able to find on YouBoob easily enough, ......watch it, understand it, then execute it. How You would adjust it to correct it depends on the timing components You've selected.

I've watched multiple videos, I guess my best question should have been is there anything different with doing it on a slant six or with an RDP cam.

Nope, if the rec'd installation is based on ICL, no different. Same rules apply to adv or retard cam as well.
It shows as ground @108° ICL, but is notated to 'use' +4°, which would mean installed @104° ICL.

The dead best camshaft degreeing camshaft video I've come across is the one posted by the guy from Clay Smith Cams. He puts it in such simple terms, and makes it easy to understand.

I saw that video, I'll go back to it again before Sunday. Got the process started today, crank, pistons and Cam in. Finish up on Sunday.
