I replaced the drivers floor pan and it came with an e-brake cable guide that needs to be spot welded on. Problem is I don’t know where it goes. Is it in line so that the cable is straight or does it pull ithe cable off on an angle? A picture would be awesome but I can’t seem to locate any. Any help describing placement is appreciated. Car is a 1968 dart GT convertible. Thanks in advance.

I cant help on the 68 Dart but be aware that there were a few changes in parking brake cables over the years.

I can get you close on this. My car is a 69 Dart GT. The photos are a little hard to discern, but the cable comes out near the t-bar crossmember, goes to a guide on the driver side, then back to a plate that holds both cables to the rear axle. The red arrow is where the cable comes out, the blue circle is the guide, and the green arrow is where the rear axle cables mount up.

Clear as mud, eh?
