Has anybody ever changed over to 67 cable route on a 65 barracuda?

Technically, it is a Parking Brake .

Nope, how many times you back outta a driveway, parking space, whatever, then put it into forward, and the vehicle goes nowhere till you release the emergency.
A park brake should hold in reverse, say on a hill, so it doesn't roll away.
Then you curb the wheels .
I bet your "motor vehicle act" requires a "secondary mechanical" brake for "emergency".
Look it up
Cheers. . . Lol I know you knew that was coming, lol

None of this nonsense is helping the OP with his issue.

The question was ambiguous/ vague.

My immediate thought was to use the emergency cables off the rear end that was in the car.
But I hesitated cuz I'm not sure that was the question, and I haven't done it to a 65ish, but I have done it with later diffs.
But is that what he asked,? - then you made an incorrect enhanced statement, that I was compelled to answer, as you knew it would.

That wasn't me! Re read the posts.

My reading of the ops post was pretty clear, can 67 emergency / parking brake cable routing be used on a 65.

The 67 runs on the left side till it goes over the driveshaft and follows the housing to the pass side.

I don't see any obstacle to doing this with the right parts, but who knows what obstacles are in the way.
