Engine belts

Evening guy and gals!

This may be a dumb question, but figured I’d rather ask it, than wonder.

So I am in the process of getting my 73 dart custom back on the road and the oem belts are totally roached. Was about to go to the parts store and just buy oem, but got me wondering. Are there better belts? It will not be a track car, but I will admittedly drive it quite heavy footed. It’s now a very pepped up 360 with power steering, oem style fan, and factory ac (which I intend to reinstall). Is there a better belt option than just the 15545s and 15460 oem type duralast, or is it all about the same?

If you have recommendations for others, part numbers or links would be great. Thanks again!

I use Gates and/or Goodyear belts.
Cheap belts tend to be incorrectly sized (width) and their compounds don't last as long.

I too use Gates most of the time.

In gates i trust.... never really had any bad belts though so i don't worry too much bout it
