Engine "Burbles"

...at idle (subtly) and it gets worse when in R, D, 2, 1. It sounds like the that "noise" a power steering belt makes except more quiet. And no, I don't have power steering. It usually happens when driving 30mph or below, upon light acceleration and below 20% throttle during heavy acceleration. What could it be?
 
Can you hear it with the hood up, working the throttle by hand? Any idea which side of the engine it seems to be most pronounced? Do you have A/C?
 
In order of your questions: yes, sometimes, near the alternator, no A/C
 
take the alt/water pump belt off and see if it stops...

if it does its alt or water pump...

get a screw driver and with the engine running put the screw driver against the alt or water pump housing and put your ear to it... it should be a nice low "whirl" noise... and anything else means the bearings are going out...

All I got is one belt :banghead: just what I need, a water pump to go out on me.
