Engine first

I decided to but the engine bay back together. I finished reworking my Hugger Headers. Today I wrapped them and soaked them in the sink, then but in the Sun. Tomorrow they get installed and hook up to the exhaust system. I hope I don't have any trouble lowering the block with the header wrap on. It's real tight without the wrap I've already finished the trunk just have to mask it off. I hope to have at lease the door jams and other hard to
paint places finished before I leave for the Hot Rod Power Tour June 6th. :burnout:Hope to get some good Idea's This will be my last tour with my 78 Vette

Don't mean to be a buzzkill, but I'd loose the header wrap. Rusty squirrel turds you will find under them in short order.

Love the way they handle. I had a 77 for 20 years and put 180,000 miles on it before selling.
