I am in the process of building my SB. My plan is to use a electrical water pump i.e. like the Meziere electrical water pump. What about the timing cover? Which type of timing cover do I need to use. I order my stock timing cover and I noticed that the pump intake and outlet flanges won't fit flush into the stock cover.

This is how I would like to do my setup.. I noticed that they use the stock timing cover. But any block off plate or something behind the engine plate?
