I have an engine thats seen about 2 years service - weekends only but some strip use- runs about 330 FWHP.

Im looking towards my next build, (Probably a 318/390) and Id like to re- use the followong parts - Are there any in this list that I just SHOULDNT re-use?

ARP Main studs
ARP rod bolts
360 shot peened rods
MP Cam bolt
MP Crank bolt
MP windage tray
MP Oil pump drive gear

Slugs and crank will be new - so wil I need to resize the rods?

If it was mine, the rods would get redone AND the bolts replaced, but if ya feel lucky and don't think they have a lot of run time since rebuilt........?

If the rods were redone before, they are fine now. Teh other fasteners are fine too. I would not re-use the oil pump drive. I like new on both to eliminate any issues with them not wearing well together.

thanks for the info -

When Im ready Ill get the rods checked - if they ar still OK (they were resized two years ago) then Ill re- use them and the rod bolts.
