i have a 72 340 that has round mounts built 3-72 is this possible or did it get a k frame change thanks bill

probably the later, they are called spool mounts and came out in 1973

If your car was built in March of 72 it should have biscuit mounts. Sounds like someone changed it out. Does your car still have 4 inch bolt pattern wheels?

yes it has 4in bolt pattern i thought biscuit mounts were the round type should i have flat mounts thanks bill

Fail safe mounts came in 73. If your K member has openings where a stabilizer bar can route through middle of it, its 73 also.
