Would it make things easier or better to move the small block engine one inch forward ? I know there is more to it than just a shorter fan spacer.
A couple of reasons I'm thinking about this..
The later model Jeep and Dakota exhaust manifold ( right side ) dumps too close to the firewall.
A500/A518 OG trans install requires tunnel surgery. That leaves me wondering is just one inch enough to clear that trans completely.
I supose once I buy the trans I could place it and see how much relocatin is required. It would be great to know someone else has looked at the possibilities before.
