Anyone have a good engine rebuild shop in SE MI they recommend?
I also posted this in the MidWest forum, but am playing it safe and posting here too.

In case it matters I'm looking to have a 400 gone through and rebuilt. I live in the Berkley, MI area.

Sounds like your a busy guy.

Try Automotive Machine in Fraser (on Garfield north of Masonic). Supposed to be Mopar friendly.
 
Not sure how close but Best Machine's in MI and top of the line.
 
I agree with Best Machine or Muscle Motors. Jayson
 
ya I was going to say muscle motors. I have my friend do all mine he builds racing motors for people drag cars and circle track cars
 
Theres a guy I use his name is Robert Pepsin he is near New Baltimore Mi 586-949-3790 this guy knows his stuff super friendly and he is reasonable on prices and hes been doing this for a very long time. Give him a call im sur he would be happy to help you out.
 
I've used "Auto Parts Machine Shop" in Ann Arbor for years now. Old school guys who know the older muscle cars. Muscle Motors is a pretty good bet also, can't go wrong with them if you want to make the trek to Lansing!! Geof
