Has anyone tried this app? It listens to the sound of your engine and displays the rpm. It's a good idea, but the only review on iTunes says it doesn't work. I'd try it just to see, but it's $8.99.

Gotta agree with messers Bad Sport & leblanc on this...
Went to the site & researched the instruction 'codex'--- errr harmonic interface ---
Thing about ' harmonics ' , no where did I see what level of same mentioned
as such, Maybe the AP should be more focused on the the giant Megapixel
cameras --- snap shot--- vid interpolation , , hard point to hard point base line
& then variables.
Frequency resonance ??? I just may buy the ap to see if the T/A mani's on tinfish
validate the findings. mmm ... nope ....

Download the g-meter app, use it to determine shift points, prob more useful/accurate. jmo
