Well I have decided on the ESPO springs in the 6 leaf configuration now I have to decide on stock height or +1". The problem I'm having is the P235 60 15 on stock Rally wheels hit the fender well lip when I go over bumps or intersections with "blips". I'm hoping this will solve the problem. Any Suggestions??

Thanks

One inch of spring height may not solve the scrub problem. A more common solution is to move the rear axle rearward about an inch to get more centered in the opening.

I can share my own example. I had a '65 Valiant with original springs that were sagging pretty badly. I bought a pair of ESPO springs (don't remember if they were 5 or 6 leaf). I actually ordered them 2" over stock.

At first, the car was ***-end up stink bug style like it had an old pair of Gabriel Hijackers. Eventually it settled down to a decent rake. I was able to run a set of 15 x 8 wheels with a 4.875" backspace and was able to mount 245/60 15s with room to spare. I also installed a set of KYB shocks which helped a tad but the springs made a huge difference.

Only time they ever rubbed was with two 250lb dudes in the back going around a corner or over a large hump. Even then, it was just a bit on the sidewall. With only me in it, they never rubbed.
