I've heard of problems with fuel pump leaking because of the diaphram being damaged, more so with E15 than E10. I know that the web is chock full of rumors that are just that - rumors ... but has anybody actually had any problems in this regard? I don't know for certain, but I would think that is a rumor. They have had ~10% ethanol in gas for quite a few years now. Also might depend on the type of pump....For example: I run e85 and use a Holley Black pump, no problems...but it is alcohol and gasoline compatible.
We've had 10% ethanol here since right after I got outta high school in the early 80s. I've not seen wide spread automobile damage at all.......small engines on the other hand are another story.

X2 Gates also has a fuel line that tolerates ethanol.
