OK! I have a 318, 360 heads, comp cam, edelbrock intake and Holley 650 sitting in the engine compartment of my black 66 Barracuda. Car is manual steering with 904 trans. Been researching headers - most of you say long tubes are a pain in A$& to install. Talked to Sanderson today about their DD7- P Blockhuggers. They said that there is still an issue with the steering coupling. Since I don't intend to race the car, just a little rumble when rolling into car cruises, am I better off to put Hi-Po or Magnum exhaust manifolds on it?
Next question - anyone have a set that will work?

I cannot guarantee that this is true but i have heard from several sources that the magnum manifolds off of a 5.2/5.9 durango or dakota will fit the early a-body. I am going to do this in my 65 valiant. i am certain i can make them work. these have the larger outlets (2 5/16").
