Exhaust hanger

I bought dual exhaust hangers for my Demon, originally a single exhaust car.
The passenger side needed the hanger plate, which I purchased and installed where the dimples were.. The drivers side hanger went on with no issues, but when installing the passenger side, the hanger / strap is way too short to reach the newly installed plate. Are there different length hangers..?? Maybe the aftermarket ones are shorter than what came from a factory dual car..? Not making sense.

Original mufflers hang pretty high and the factory hangers are tricky to use when stiff and new..

Maybe so... I think I have 2 1/4" though.

Well the U bolt is all rusty. Guess you can pu a bigger one in there.
