Exhaust port size

does a stock 340 head have the same exhaust port size as a 360 head.

yes, the exhaust valves are the same size, its the intake valve where theres the difference, the 340 has a 2.02 inch intake (except for 73 340's that have 360 heads) valve and the 360 has the 1.88 inch intake valve

After 1971 they are substantially the same. The 360 and 72 or later 340's used the 1.88 intake. Exhaust ports were the same.
