Exhaust stud sealant?

What should I use to stop water from leaking from the exhaust studs on small block heads?
I've got a few ideas. Red thread locker, muffler cement (says it's good to 850f) JB weld (pretty darn permanent though) i have some thread sealant but I don't think it's high heat, at least it doesn't say anything about temperatures.

I've used it in for all my high pressure connections with hydraulic and air pressure. Thread locker is an excellent sealant, Check it out, it's pretty cool.
What do you use for exhaust studs?
My thinking is that the coolant should keep the thread locker from melting? But I'm not quite sure.
Maybe there wasn't any type of sealant used from the factory?

this is what i have used for thread sealant. AND the head where the stud is should not get particularly hot. lots of cast iron and a water jacket to dissipate heat

Thanks. I guess I should have mentioned that temperature was my main concern in the OP.
I know that thread locker would and will seal it, but could be a real bi+ch to remove later on down the road. I'll pick up some of that high temp sealant.

Permatex also recommends using the anaerobic gasket activator spray with the high temperature thread sealant as well. I can say that
it really sticks the exhaust studs solidly in place when you use it with that sealant.

I've used red high temp RTV for over 40 years. Never had an issue.

As noted above, PST592, I put that shat on everything and I'm talking aircraft fittings as well. Never a leak...

No, both are 592. 6ml and 20ml tubes denote the extra #'s after 592
