We are planning to paint the '67 Bcuda Convertible trunk panel and light/grill bezels partially in a black, the degree/amount is yet to be determined. If anyone has done this and determined a good formula and sheen to do or avoid please advise.
This is a restomod project that is light on the "MOD" elements. We have not shaved anything or fabricate body changes. We've used a lightened MOPAR-ish Furious Fuchsia color, class-up the interior with leather, and added flashy Foose chrome Knuckle wheels. New cars are using a lot of black, so in the spirit of restoMOD, we're opting for some blacking-out these trim pieces. My friend sent the attached pic of someone's finished project in Plum Crazy that has their grill/ight bezels partially blacked-out as an example.
