FABO meet at Carlisle Chrysler Nationals Jul 8 - Jul 10, 2011

Hey,
So a couple of us in another thread had brought up the point that many of us are from the east coast. That being as it is, a lot of us go to Carlisle every July and see the various mopar groups that meet there. Which lead to the questions of:

Why don't we have a group?
Maybe we should?

So in this thread I guess let it be known if you're interested in such a thing, and possibly with some help from the Moderators, we can make something happen.

There is a charge to get in. But it's about the same as tickets. Plus in July, having a car in the infield is a luxury when it comes to sitting and water.

i have hotel reservations , but may not be going this year after all, too much going on for me right now. if i do end up going , i would be interested in meeting some members, dont think i would have my car ready by then though.

A tent! Anybody who's been to Carlisle before, knows that a tent or canopy, is worth its weight in GOLD. That July sun is a killer. Maybe meet up, toss some $ together and get some sodas or something. Why not? We talk more regularly than most clubs. We meet up here every night in toyland. It's not different than a parkinglot. It's just quieter. (MODS GET ON THAT, WE NEED CONSTANT ENGINE REV NOISES ON THIS SITE.)

Been quite a few years since I've been to the Carlisle show. Used to live
in Virginia. Moved to Illinois in 2004. But this year I'm skipping the Nats
and coming to Carlisle. Will be there both Friday and Saturday.

Ill be there no matter what. The dart is getting 10mpg so there is no way i'm driving it! Should be a lot better than that but its my work in progress give me a break.:thumrigh:

post their spot number ,if they already have one so other members can come and meet you.

Damn, I wish I'd seen this earlier. My racing partner and his son will be there, and if I'd known I'd have taken some vacation time and flown up for the weekend. Oh well, there is always next year.:glasses2:
