P/N 2998325 would correspond to a 70-72 A-Body V-8 fan shroud, 22". Just wondering if this stamping looks legit for an OEM part. Thanks FABO Nation.

The numbers are embossed which means that are stamped in reverse into the mold.

The double stamped pentastar would be a nice touch for an aftermarket

So if an aftermarket manufacturer was making a shroud I suspect they would not put part numbers or logos on it as that could get them in trouble. but if a person was trying to sell the part and say it was OEM it would be difficult to put raised letters etc on it vs melting letters etc into it
