Fact-check me on sandblasting, would you?

i specialty blast for a living, so i get some cool stuff. Normally customers dont get the "try to get most of the grease off before you bring it" but no big deal. big thing is keeping the flying grease off the freshly blasted stuff. a quick reblast afterwards gets the rest off.

try to stop using sand. that fractured silicate can stay airborne for 30 minutes. its invisible and kills you very slowly. (siliocosis) buy recycled glass, so much cleaner and safer because it does not have active silica in it, the slag (copper/coal) products have trace arsenic as well as 10+ other ugly chemicals. i use 50,000+lbs a year of glass and love it. not much matters when you cant breathe.
