My 70 Dart Rallye dash is back together and in the car. I'm re-installing the thumb wheel, factory AM radio. Having a single speaker, do the green and black speaker wires have a polarity? Does it matter which speaker posts they go to?
Thanks FABO!

The factory speaker wires had one male and one female connector on the wires. The speaker had the same. So it couldn't hook up backwards. So maybe it does matter. Why would they go to the effort to do that.

But the speaker will work with wires on either terminal.

Many aftermarket speakers have a + and - markings on them

Speakers as supposed to be phased, but in a car body, where audio reflections are all but unpredictable, likely does not matter. Just make DARN sure that none of the speakers have one leg grounded
