Ok, this is a weird one. 73 Duster, originally 318/3-speed, no AC. Currently has what looks like a factory shroud, but with a cheezy fixed fan. OE fan is gone. Anyone know what diameter I need? The PN would be awesome-guy locally has several, but...well, Chrysler used A LOT of different fans. I figure if anyone knows, it's here.
 
Lots of 318s came with solid fans.
My 78 fury is among them. And looking in the FSM for that car, it even lists that as an option on some. Do I like it? no. But that's how some came from the factory.
 
Mine is DEFINITELY not a factory fan. Looks like a cheap eBay special-smaller diameter than the shroud, and roars like an airplane.
 
Measure the shrouds diameter, then measure from the existing fan blades tips to the shroud at various points around the circumference of the shroud. Hopefully the fan is centered in the shroud, then just get a blade about 2” smaller diameter than the shroud diameter. Ball park. Generally speaking. Roughly. As a start.

18" diameter, 7 blades, 2" wide. Also used on 225, 318, and 340 E, B and C-bodies.

It does not show the 5 blade flex fan on a 318 A-body, but that's what you have on there currently.*
