Did Mopar ever make faster ratio steering arms for the '60-'62 Valiant/Lancer? If not, does anyone have diagrams on how to modify them to fewer turns lock-to-lock?

No fast steering arms for those cars. They have 24:1 stock ratio manual steering

What you can do is buy a rebuilt aluminum Firm Feel 16:1 manual steering box. Or buy a new cast iron 16:1 steering box from Flaming River.

OR... you can buy a circle track compact steering quickner and fabricate it into your steering column. http://www.scpraceparts.com/coleman-billet-steering-quickener-1-5-to-1-ratio.html

Firm Feel also make a 20:1, which is a nice improvement over stock. The 16:1
(in my opinion) is a bit arm strong for the street.

60-61 cars(valiant) have a different gear box--I believe it is 20:1---62 is the same as later a bodies--aluminum case 24:1--.
