Have members in Indy this weekend for the swap meet and after reading Old Man Rays thread on his favorite pizza topping thought there should be a thread on favorite place to get that Pizza or whatever

East side Indy

Rock Cola on Brookville rd just west of Arlington. 50's diner with hand cut and pounded tenderloin (grilled only) but many other fine sandwiches, hand made milk shakes and Danny Iria owns the rights to Choc-Cola for those that might have had it as a kid, he sells it at the cafe and is trying to get it back on the market. It is available locally in some stores in 1/2 gal and cans.

Outside Indy on east side

Mine is MOZZI'S Pizza in Greenfield Indiana and the one on west Main Street has a buffet for lunch and dinner. Personally thing they make the best pizza, hand made crust, sauce and have both stone oven and conveyor, prefer stone.

Southwest Indy

Gray Brothers Cafeteria in Mooresville, Indiana
They have great home style food and fresh pies and cakes
Love their breaded and fried pork tenderloin, baked talopia, green beans

Or a little hole in the wall in Brooklyn, Indiana is AMY'S PLACE, next to post office. Like going into Amy's house and asking her to fix your favorite meal. Only open till 2 pm, but she makes a great breakfast or tenderloin sandwich for lunch

Far west side

Paragon, @ girls school road & Rockville road

Great little place with good selection of food, if you leave hungry, it is your fault, we usually have a box to go with leftovers

Avon, Indiana

Papa Joes, great Italian place that makes a good pizza, but they put it on a plate that makes the crust soggy, so I get it to go and in a box to keep it from getting that way, all the other stuff I have had there it good.

So help out fellow Mopar travelers and post your favorite place here.

This could be used when traveling thru an area when you have time for a meal other than fast food or a chain type place. I like the smaller mom & pop places, locally owned.

When I travel prefer to stop at these type places for the local atmosphere if time allows.

Monster Mopar is coming so many will be coming in for that, might be going to Cleveland Ohio area later this summers so it would be good to see what might be a worthwhile stop on trip from Louisville, ky to Cleveland, oh

Make a yearly trip to Florida and have stopped at some places that are out of the way but if we had a list before it wouldn't be by accident but maybe a planned stop.

Pretty sure nobody will be traveling to Canby MN but here is the best pizza in SW MN.

Don't forget to order potato button fries and PK punch.

El Pesebre in Rota, Spain. Small restaurant, great service (they are American friendly), great traditional Spanish food. It's also only about a 15 minute walk from the front gate, if you don't get lost that is.

Franco's Pizza in Dover, Deleware.

Three Brothers Pizza just outside the front gate of McGuire, AFB.

New York Doner Kebab in Landstuhl, Germany (it may actually be in K-Town)

The little curry shop at Bahrain Intl. Airport. All the food you can eat for about three dollars and they deliver to the jet.

If you are passing thru middle Georgia on I-75 I recommend Georgia Bob's barbecue. Good food, pulled pork, good prices and right off the interstate.

Since we don't have them out here in Washington state I'll say 'Cracker Barrel'. Took an easy coast vacation/road-trip a few years ago an came across them. The whole family liked their menu. Never had southern comfort food here near Seattle.
