1970 Dodge Dart "SWINGER", original ( FC7-Plum crazy purple ) car. Original 318 car, now with late 70's 360 small block, 8 1/4 rear-end. Rally wheels, Twin HOOD SCOOPS, Black interior, black vinyl top, bench seat. Rear seat has tear in top and will likely need recovering. Front seat has seperations at the seam on drivers side but overall in decent shape. Vinyl top will need to be replaced as it dry-rotting. Rocker panels are rusted out, rear drivers quarter might need replacing, likely a patch panel on passenger side rear too... minor rust issues on the rest. Solid trunk, floors and frame rails, Great grille ( Drivers side signal lens comes with... I removed it to clean dirt out). Nice headliner.. Bumpers in decent shape. Automatic on column with very nice DASH and instrument cluster.
Not currently running, but was running when I got the car a couple of years ago. Something with the coil and the battery is being drained. I purchased this car with dreams of having a sweet daily driver MOPAR, but just never had the time or the $$$ to make it happen and I already have one Dart to keep me busy. This really could be something special to the person with the time and place to bring'er back to life. I thought it was especially cool since it had originally been special oredered FC7 Plum Crazy purple which at the time was a High Impact color for the HP cars. I have the fender tag intact. This really needs a good home and before the weather starts getting nasty. Currently in my driveway with a car cover, but would be much better in a new home with a roof. Come take a look, make me an offer I can't refuse... I really don't want to see this car go to waste with so much potential. Would make a great project for a body guy!
