FE Ford Quadrajet 4 barrel intake manifold

Anyone ever seen a spreadbore 4 bbl intake manifold for a FE Ford?

The only Ford engine to use a Quadrajet was the 70-71 429 Cobra Jet.

Maybe Ford used other spread bore carbs in the emissions era.

Found this...

The XE marked Quadrajet cast iron intakes were used on the last FE powered vehicles that Ford built. It was a 390 powered U-Haul truck from about 1979 - 82.

Ford used the Thermoquad on some of the 74 460's. I'm not sure which ones.

Yup. I am hoping my next engine build is going to be a 429 Ford & hope to persuade the owner to use a 850 TQ.

Ford used the Autolite 4300 spread bore carburetors a lot too. Like this one.
