fedral thompson power steering pully

Need help, with pully line up, I'am using my orig federal pump 3/8" press on pully set up from my 69 Barracuda six cylinder with a/c. on a 1971 340 motor no a/c same car, Have the right brackets for the 340 butt the pully sticks out about an 1 1/2 to far. what do I need to make it work.

Any one know if you have to use the same year on all pullys for it to work.

you might try a 4 groove pulley on the crank from a later model with a/c

I pulled a power steering set-up, brackets and all from a 76 Aspen and it bolted up to my 69 GTS pretty much flawlessly.

i just changed mine out to a saginaw pump. mine was bolted to a late model magnum 360,no a/c. don't know if that will help you. call bouchillon performance,they are pretty sharpe on the pulley info.

You need a V8 pulley as the slant 6 puts the belt out a lot farther.

Correct. The /6 pulley is different.
