Anyone build one of these guys in iron or aluminum?

Looking for feedback on issues, qualitly compatability of parts etc. thanks!

There down the block from me and I can't purchase one direct, dang bastards. LOL

There 10o% compatable from what I understand. Call'em up and ask!

That's what I understand, too. I've been reseaching the aluminum block for my E-body build and from what I gather it's straight up for parts like heads, cams, mounts, etc.

So if you could do one of these with the aluminum block, what heads would be a good choice, who make a nice set of high flow low weight heads? I think when all is said and done if you go all aluminum you are close in weight to an all iron 340 right?

it would be nice to use that 4.5 bore and build 500+ inches. You would think with the correct combo 600 HP is easy on pump gas.

Anyone have a listing of parts cam etc to use for a street car running a dan with 3.54s and a 727 with maybe about 2800-3200 stall?

I would like to build one of these with dual quads, I kinda want the look and the power. I know many folks opt for the single big speed demon etc, but I would like to make it look like a 426 yet be a much stronger running beast.

I think I do reacall the alternator mount is the only real diff on the later heads, and dont these blocks allow for 440 style mounts, or if it is going in a K member in place of a 340 would you just get a schmaucher conversion mounting kit?

thanks!

Here are some specs I did come across.
