Fender Splash shields

Is there a differnce between a Demon and a Duster inner fender metal splash shield. I bought a pait and rather than having the small captured nut down near the bottom, The one I bought used has a bump out of about 1" which has the captured nut in the surface of the bump out. Seller said it was for a 70-71 Duster/Demon, but my Demon piece does not have the 1" bump out? It is just flat with a small captured nut about 6" up from the bottom??

Yes, Dart and Valiant splash shields are different as the fenders are different.

I bought '70 swinger splash shields for my 68 Dart and when I compared them on the car, the 70 had the bump out like you described. The lower end was slightly different also but all of the holes lined up and the fender shape is the same. It is good to go.

I don't know about the Duster / Demon match.
