Fender tag code F09

Yea it’s odd. Btw my car was vinyl top which some previous owner removed, didn’t prep well before repaint and now lots of bubbling on roof

I bet the 8 3/4 is original.

lots of 318 A/C Swingers seem to get these. Especially if they have disk too. Does/Did it have a rim blow steering wheel? That was part of a popular 71 Swinger package.

Winder if this car has a trailer towing option that trigger a HD Alternator or other HD electrical equipment.

I have a 71 b-body police car tag with at least in F-code.

Did the OP try the mymopar decoder?

We have been through this before. ;-)

The Windsor plant had it's own F codes & their meanings are just not known yet............

That could explain it. Do not know if my car had rim blow, not on it now. I read that the alternator option is triggered by a/c. I haven’t tried mymopar decoder but will get to it later.

Does it have a front sway bar?
Does it have 14 x 5.5 rims (maybe left over spare in this case)

Checked spare,

only markings shown in pics, “M5” was on both sides, guessing denotes 5” wheel.

Just ran across a 71 that has been in a guys family for 30+ years and it has F09
on the fender tag . It also has a rim blow wheel ...
