Looking at 73 dart sport 340. any help with the fender tag? Realy nice car that has been restored and wondering how close they got it.

Unless you been condition to read tape measures upside down, behind your back, around the corner. Lol

nope don't have that condition but I know this based on reading the tag. Some codes on your tag are not clear to read.

Thanks that helps alot. Seems like the car I'm looking at is legit and restored pretty close to that tag.
Questions.
M21 roof type-- does that mean half vinyl top?
V21-perm hood treatment--mean stripe on hood?
A85-charger top package- what's that?
J54-hood insulating pad-is that the hood scoop and under hood for that?

J54 is dual snorkel hood scoop
V21 is two black stripes in middle of hood front to back

A88 is interior decor package. I don't think that's "A85"

V9x- this car has stripes straight down and not up and over. It's a 73 340 dart sport and they restored it that way. What do you mean by default

So that's a v4x and should have half top. Which is what they did to it. But not the stripe over top.
Sounds like they did good job on this restoration

Good read. This stuff get complicated.

The car I'm looking at was completely restored and black stripes down side ,that book you sent me confused me. Sort of sugest over the top is standard but could get side. Not a deal breaker at all just seems like they paid attention during resto. And maybe missed that idk..?
