Had a good Summit points race Sunday. Went to semi finals and red lighted by -.002
Guy who beat me won the finals.
Had consistent reaction times today, I think that made the difference.
Worst was .05 and best was .0011 (which may be my personal best).
also had a .002, .003 & .008
With those kind of lights I could be a little off dial and still win the round.
Looking forward to the next one!

grate 60'!
So what did you do to keep it so tight?
I footbrake and I have to leave off idle for the car to hook right.
If my idle is just right, I can leave as soon as 3rd yellow comes on.
Usually around 1300-1400rpm in gear, which is pretty high, but I'm not driving down the street with it like that, so who cares? It's not going to hurt the converter, it's a 5500 stall.
If I consistently go -.01 or -.02 I slow the idle down slightly to increase reaction time.
.04 or .05, I raise the idle slightly. Had it dead on last Sunday and it pretty much stayed like that. I just need to be sure the motor is up to temperature so the idle doesn't change.
