The true tool junkies out there understand why this is an exciting event. The tiny little jeweler's vise made by Wilton, affectionately known as the "baby bullet," is quite rare and coveted by vise collectors.

Here it is compared to my big 200lb C3 (and a beer can).

What does one of those typically go for, if you don't mind me asking?
Depending on condition, $200-1000 to the right buyer. Possibly more if you have the swivel base or "Powrarm" base.

For the record, I didn't pay anywhere near that. It was included in a lot of machinist tooling I picked up.

Awesome! I have one with a power arm and bench clamp. If you pull the removable jaw out there should be a date on the slide.

I stumbled into a 4" bullet a few years ago. I got it for a song as the PO disassembled it, put it back together wrong so it didn't work, and sold it to me cheap. Also it had no handle. A 14" piece of 5/8 bar, a cleanup and some good grease and it was back in action. When cranked down it will hold onto anything without slipping.

That baby bullet is oh-so-cool!
