I have been running a 6 pack lift off hood for years , finally got tired of it being a pain in the *** standing up in the side of the 16 ft wide garage with stuff all up and down both sides .
I bought some short ''sache rod shop'' aftermarket hood hinges , and a bout a whole month later got them to work with the lift off hood on the 68 fastback , turned out to be a job , but glad I did it .
I made a rod to hold the hood up (locked in place) , but will probly try to improve it , as Im not happy with that part .
