Fire destroys Smokey Yunick's garage

Well Smokey's been dead for a few years now. The garage was only a shell of it's former glory days but it's a shame anyway. I worked right down the road from there for about 7 years. Couldn't read the article here at work though, friggin filters.
 
Sounds to me that it was "no big loss." As you said, a "shell" and Smokey himself didn't want a shrine Still it's sad when you see history die. The average driver has never heard of Yunick
