I have one in my car and love it. I think they have 3 stages and mine is a stage 2. I think it is a great investment.

They and Steer & Gear both have sterling reputations.

I have the stage one in my daily driver '64 convertible, and love it. Others suggested getting the stage two, but I'm glad I didn't. I think it would have been too heavy for a mostly stock cruiser, and out here on the plains I have no need for canyon-carving capabilities.

The steering effort, centering, and response are very similar to a modern car, and nothing like the typical old Mopar.

I had Stage II and I could turn the wheel with one finger. I upgraded to Stage III and reduced the PS pump pressure (Mopar Action trick). The car has really good road feel and it is still easy to park. I can turn the wheel with one hand easily. It's only a little harder than most new cars. I would go with Stage III.

Mine steers really easy, with one finger on the wheel sitting still.
I don't mean one finger between the spokes either, I mean on the foam.
The one thing that freaks me out a little is that it is very high geared.
If you sneeze you probably just changed lanes, but I kinda like that also.
It's funny to watch other people drive it as they seem to constantly over correct and end up weaving back and forth in the lane.

Just makes me wonder what an 80 mph tire blowout might end up causing is all.

Firm Feel and Steer & Gear sell upgraded rebuilt stock boxes. That means all the stock equipment (pitman arm, power steering hoses, input shaft coupler) bolt right up.
