First ever car show at George Rays!!

I herd about this car show yesterday from a friend, It was a last minute thing they said and it was rained out while I was at Monster Mopar in Indy
So I gave Victoria a bath and went to show my support
Hillbilly racing at it's best :burnout:



Bonney put me right behind a beautiful Cuda :sign3:

First up are some FABO members I met :cheers:
They ask where I got my T-Shirt and then I knew they had to be some members close by :cheers: The Green A body is a member named 72golddustermike and his family and friends :hello2: I hope he jumps in here and tells us hello :toothy9:

There was a little bit of everything there and seeing old friends was a big plus in my day just saying :hello2: hay!! as we say it

So, If you have never been to George Rays this is what it looks like out in the middle of been's and rice fields since 1961
Here are some shot's looking around before I headed over to the drag stip about 100 yard away

hey memike the sublime green duster is mine red is my bros.it was nice to meet you 2 day didnt think we had that many mopars around usually round here dont see em all together it was a great day over there today i even ran my car down track today. my family loves a bodies weve got four of em.i have my 72 sublime and a 70 duster with a 340 with x heads in middle of resoring right now. im also helping dad with his 74 dart sport one owner 318 car b1 color.my dad got me into these at an early age he had a plum crazy 340 demon 4 speed back in the day anyway nice meetin u

Yall have some very nice A bodies :cheers: I ran the only slant 6 there and he ran a 12:06 and I ran a 11:28 for a fun run :glasses7:
I sure had a great time and my wife was glad to see me go, My little Valiant was not detailed so I put a fuel pump box in my engine conpartment that wrote DAILY DRIVER STRUCK BY LIGHTING THIS SUMMER :toothy9:
Victoria will be looking nicer this time next year :toothy9:

And old friend drove his 225/6 automatic 2 barrel Dart so we had a fun run but he fell victom to Victoria 11:28 to a 12:06 we both pulled a good light but Victoria has a great 60' time and we had everyone standing up as they paired up the only /6 cars there :burnout::burnout:
What a good day seeing all my great ol friends, they came out of the wood work asking where I have been :hello2: I said playing pool and being grandpa :hello2:

Ain't that the truth J I must have chased Friday and Saturday's rain to George rays when we was at Monster Mopar
I almost did not go J, I herd about it last night and I did not have Victoria cleaned up ops:, But Treva told me I should go and support this day there becouse it has been slow because of the heat and wet spring we had :glasses7:
Bonnie was glad to see me and put me right by the registration tent behind a beautiful 'Cuda :toothy9::toothy9: I can't believe this picture turned out bad :wack:

For some reason this has been in a plate in front of me every day I went to a car show and drag race day 4 days out of 11 Wow I have been a busy fun member :happy1:
Tony and Thelma kept good care of me at Monster Mopar and Treva is doing the same here at home tonight, This must be the secret plate to serve up on a great day :cheers:

Good evening 6pkC :hello2: I wish I had a dolor for every person that has told me there dad or mom owned one like Victoria
But !! one thing I have seen is the lack of the 66 sedans at show or on the road, they kept the 66 barracuda's and dove these sedans till they dropped and crushed them, so when I do get her all smoothed out and dun she will be one of very few around. Thank you :hello2: Tell Bob he would have been proud of her today :hello2:

Opp's almost forgot to say this The only replacement for displacement is a good driver hahahehe!
