Chances are very slim, unless you happen to have the original sales paperwork. Most states in the US only keep records back 25 to 30 years. You could start with the state BMV that the title came from.

This car come from Nashville.. Anybody have a email so a can send a question about first owner in title... Here in Norway there was a new role for number plate 1 April 1971
So if the first owner in titel have the car before april
Then a can have old style number plate...

The State of Tennessee keeps good records. The vehicle history report should every registration for this car in the State of Tennessee. Sometimes it will include a copy of the title surrendered when the Tennessee registration was granted. Try this site:

Try running the VIN through this. If it was built April 2 or later you don't have to worry. We may be able to ballpark with the sequence number. There should be partial date codes for engine and trans.? Again if after April, may not have to worry.
