I have one for ya...a pot head that worked at the machine shop suggested once that a rolling paper was good for .001" for shimming bearings....yeah we looked at him like "huh?" this was 1991 or so...
Flipping pistons?.....Phphfsssssssssssssst....Now it's oiling backs of bearings

????? Never heard of that. You would have to play that game before resizing the bores. It would have no affect on spun bearings or not provided the bore ID is within the specs. I suppose it could help with cap walk, but that is where 4 bolt and cross bolt shine.
