I have in the past. The welded plate became in welded. I complained and they were complete jerks. The welds broke within the month. Others have and are still using it without issue.
 
Mine works great, had to replace one but got about 8 years out of it on my 340
 
I just installed a Flowkooler from summit this weekend. If you buy from summit, make sure you get the latest version pump. the newer Flowkooler pump has a cnc milled aluminium impeller the older design has a welded plate impeller. I got the older design, called Flowkooler, found it is indeed a Flowkooler older version. When i called summit, i had them send me the hoses i needed (free) , to make up for the outdated part.
 
I'm running one since the 90's on my 340...with the 69 and down style water pump.
