I got a 11 inch flywheel 143 teeth . Casting # 2843212-2 nr. It came off a 318, but I know big block will bolt up too. It is for internal balance. Any body know what it's for.Did trucks use an 11 in flywheel ???

Truck flywheel, can you get the bellhousing too?? I've never seen one used in a A body. Did it have the 833 OD trans?

I bought it for a friend. I think the guy I bought it from had it on an engine with no tranny that he bought. I thought it might be big block...........oh well, I have no use for it........My friend still needs a 318/340 flywheel.

This was taken from another forum.....

I should have posted this too, my apologies. The 360 flywheel out of my '90 W350 is indeed a 143 tooth, has the number 2843212 cast on the back. This number checks out with the Mitchel's book.

Did you find a flywheel? I have one, it'll probably need a new ring gear, but I have a friend who has a blanchard grinder and can resurface the face

Your flywheel 2843214 is a 67-69 383-440 11" 143 tooth unit for B&C body cars. Its of no good if you do not have the 11 inch bell housing to go with it.This is a forged crank unit, internally balanced, mrmopartech
